HP presented the smartphone HP iPAQ hw6900 Mobile Messenger, working on Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 and laying a claim to be called as the first smartphone working in four receiving/transmission regimes: GSM/GPRS/EDGE, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth. The smartphone has also 1.3 MP camera, but the key feature of the novelty is the support of applications Microsoft Messaging and Security Feature Pack being in the distribution kit of Windows Mobile 5.0. Owing to the integrated module GPS the possessors of smartphone in the America will also obtain the possibility to work with the application Microsoft Pocket Streets 2006, and the Europeans - with the analogue program of geographical positioning Tom-Tom Navigator 5.
